Volunteers
Working under the guidance of the Executive Committee, volunteers work on all components before, during, and after Camp to ensure a fun and memorable experience. As a 100% volunteer run organization, volunteers are an essential part of the organization. A volunteer medical professional is present at camp all day each day. A dedicated team of volunteers helps to foster an ECHHA community.
THE
Counselors
Integral to a summer camp is a solid group of counselors. High school students go through an application and interview process before being selected to serve as counselors. Counselors are trained on camp curriculum as well as topics such as health/safety protocols, risk management, connecting with campers and strategies to strengthen camp team and counselor dynamics. Our counselors form a tight bond of friendship extending beyond their time at ECHHA.
